Well, there is a hidden secret many of the so-called fitness experts don’t tell you about.   Are you ready for it?  It’s your mind.  Your mental approach is the greatest determinate in learning how to get fit fast or anything else, for that matter.

The key to your learning to “diet” effectively and over the long haul is… your mind.

Visualization is a must if you’re going to acquire your goals.Can you imagine yourself with the lean, trim body of your dreams?   If you can then you will learn dieting for weight loss loss and get the body you’ve always desired.  Everyday you should picture “your” body lean and trim.

Unwritten goals are not really goals at all. Set goals and write them down.

A Harvard Survey in 1979 examined a class of MBA program students.   The results of the survey were astounding:

•    84% of the class had no goals at all
•    13% of the class had unwritten goals
•    3 % had written goals

The students were surveys again after ten years and here’s the results:

The 3% of the students who had written goals had a higher net worth than the other 97% combined.  The 13% with goals that were unwritten earned twice as much as the 84% with no goals.

But here’s the most astounding fact:  The 3% with written goals earned ten times as much as all the others combined!

Dieting for Weight Loss – Step 3 – Review goals daily and take action

Goals require action.  At least twice a day you should review your goals and remember taking action is a must.  Start slowly and be consistent.   Can you make a better commitment than one to yourself?

Build up a routine little by little over time.  Maybe start working out twice a week and increase it slowly; instead of changing your whole diet – maybe start with giving up those sugar-laden soft drinks and progressively make other eating habit adjustments.  But whatever you do – stick with it and in time you’ll start seeing results which will motivate you even further.
