Mixed with lots of dairy fats, this recipe relies on the simplicity of its ingredients to let the flavor of the strawberries shine through. For more of a strawberry flavor, look for a sugar-free strawberry syrup to add to the mix.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup crushed ice, divided
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1⁄2 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1⁄2 cup strawberries
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

PREPARE

1.In a blender, place ½ cup of ice. Add the almond milk, heavy cream, and coconut oil. Blend to combine.
2.Add the strawberries, vanilla, and remaining ½ cup of ice.
3.Blend for 1 minute, or until smooth, and serve.
